How we collect, use, and protect your information

Introduction

Thank you for visiting the Advanced Organization of the Great Plains ("AOGP," "we," "us," or "our"). We wrote this policy to help you understand what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have. We welcome your questions and comments on this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

When you sign up for or use our services, you voluntarily give us certain information. This can include your name, email address, and any other information you provide us through contact forms, membership registration, or course enrollment.

Technical Information

Whenever you use a website or other internet service, certain information is created and recorded automatically. The same is true when you use our platform. Here are some of the types of information we collect:

Log Data

Our servers automatically record information ("log data") including information that your browser sends whenever you visit our website. This log data may include your Internet Protocol address, browser type and settings, the date and time of your request, how you used the website, and cookie data.

Cookie Data

We may use "cookies" (a small text file sent by your computer each time you visit our website) or similar technologies to record log data. We may use "session" cookies (that last until you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (that last until you or your browser delete them). For example, we may use cookies to store your preferences so you don't have to set them up every time you visit.

Device Information

We may collect information about the device you are using, including what type of device it is, what operating system you are using, device settings, and unique device identifiers. Whether we collect some or all of this information depends on what type of device you are using and its settings.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide our services to you and make them better, develop new services, and protect our members. We also use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our platform and services
  • Send you updates, newsletters, and other information that may be of interest to you (you can opt out of these communications at any time)
  • Respond to your questions or comments
  • Process transactions and send related information, including purchase confirmations and receipts
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions and other illegal activities and protect the rights and property of AOGP and others

3. Your Choices

Our goal is to give you simple and meaningful choices over your information. If you have an account, many of the choices you have are built directly into the product or your account settings. For example, you can:

  • Access and change information in your profile at any time
  • Request deletion of your account at any time
  • Control cookie and local storage settings through your browser
  • Unsubscribe from marketing communications using the link in any email we send you

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. The limited instances where we may share your personal information include:

  • With your consent — when you explicitly authorize us to share information with a third party
  • For legal reasons — if we believe that disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation, or legal request; to protect the safety, rights, or property of the public or any person; or to detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, or technical issues
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or similar transaction
  • Service providers — we may share information with third-party service providers who process payments (Stripe) or provide hosting and infrastructure on our behalf, subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations

5. Payment Processing

We use Stripe to process payments. When you make a purchase, your payment information is sent directly to Stripe and is not stored on our servers. Stripe's use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy.

6. Children's Information

Our services are not directed to children under 13. If you learn that a minor child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us and we will take steps to remove that information.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to help protect your personal information from loss, theft, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage method is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may change this policy from time to time, and if we do, we'll post any changes on this page. If you continue to use our website after those changes are in effect, you agree to the revised policy. If the changes are significant, we may provide more prominent notice or obtain your consent as required by law.

9. Contact Us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact us at [email protected].

This Privacy Policy is effective as of April 2026 and was last updated on April 12, 2026.
